"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them,
because they were harassed and helpless,
like sheep without a shepherd."

Volunteering For Health Care Providers

“Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest.”
– John 4:35

A note from our medical director:

If you have a heart for missions, let me say we have a place for you. Some of us neverMedical Director Jack Keen felt we had one to two weeks to take out of our busy schedule to travel to a foreign country to provide the services that God had us trained for in the world. Now, the mission field is right here in Fort Worth.

Mercy Clinic is open Tuesday and Thursday nights with providers serving 6:00PM to 8:30PM and on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. Depending on their schedules, some health care professionals serve every two, four, six, or eight weeks. There are two medical providers at each clinic and one dentist on Thursday with translators, nursing and dental assistants available. Come for a tour and see the technology available and the smiles on our patients when leaving after given the care and medication to meet their needs.

Thank you,
Jack Keen, MD
Medical Director

About Mercy Clinic

Mercy Clinic Fort Worth primarily serves patients from 76110 neighborhoods. Our patients are adults who do not have insurance, worker’s compensation, or access to Medicare. Many of our patients suffer from chronic diseases that are exacerbated by a lack of access to adequate medical care and prescriptions. Mercy Clinic works to fill this gap in medical access by providing care to our patients free of charge. Furthermore, we work with local hospitals, nonprofits, and county services to connect our patients with wellness and nutrition programs to give them the tools they need to maintain and improve their health.

The Need For Providers

Currently, Mercy Clinic operates on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30PM to 8:30PM and Wednesday afternoons from 1PM to 4:PM.      Demand for our medical and dental services remains strong in the 76110 community, and the waiting room is full each time we are open. Your help as a volunteer health care provider will allow us to continue serving our community during these times and to expand beyond the current operating schedule to meet the growing demand.
